Here is the muffler painted with Duplicolor High Heat 1200 degree paint. The arrow is pointing out one of the brackets that was removed in step 4. |

Here you can see the other brackets that were removed. The one on the side is used to attach the cosmetic piece. I had a bolt welded onto the inside of it to re-attach the cosmetic piece. The second arrow to the right is pointing out where I bumped the rear brackets out 1/4 of an inch. This was needed to make up for the space lost when drilling the 1 3/4 inch hole in the cosmetic pieces in step 7. |

| I also cut the pipes to fit. The duplicolor paint needs to cure for 7 days, and I was told it is crucial that you wait the whole 7 days...so don't start it up!! If you have an oven available you can cut this time to hours. But my wife would not have approved of toxifying the house...although I was tempted. |  |
